Nathan:  I never asked you about the doctor, how’d it go?
Haley:  Oh great, uhm, everything’s fine.  You?
Nathan:  Same, everything’s fine.
Haley:  Ready to go?
Nathan:  Yeah.  I thought I’d stop by Clay’s on the way out of town and tell Quinn to call you.  I also threw your things in the car, Jamie’s, too; thought I could make you change your mind.
Haley:  Oh, I wish.  I’m gonna miss you so much.
Nathan:  Yeah, about that… we have money, you have time.  Stash the kid with Brooke, and get my baby, and my other baby to Charlotte as much as possible.  Promise me.  [Haley nods]
Haley:  I promise.  Cross my heart.
Nathan:  Alright.  Don’t make me ground you.  You’ve seen how I lower the hammer, I don’t mess around.
Haley:  I have, it’s pretty scary.  [Nathan laughs] I love you.  I’m in love with you.  That’s nice after all this time.
Nathan:  That’s everything after all this time. 

8x01 Asleep at Heaven’s Gate

Nathan:  It’s like a dream, this night.  The way you look, and the way you are.  My life.  Tomorrow I leave for my job in the NBA.  I leave this house that I own, my miracle of a son, my wife; who’s so far out of my league, I hope she never figures it out.  You know I want a daughter just like you?  I want to look into her eyes and feel my heart break because she reminds me so much of her beautiful, kind, strong mother.
Haley:  What if we have a boy?
Nathan:  Then we’ll sell him, try again.  [Haley laughs] Oh, I missed that laugh.  You feeling okay, baby?  Feeling less of that weight, that darkness? 
Haley:  Yeah, I feel like me.  I feel like yours.  And it feels good.

Haley:  Please don’t think that I take that for granted.  I’m so grateful for who you’ve been through all of this.  And how you’ve been.
Nathan:  There’s no other way for me to be.  You’ve saved me so many times.  I worry that I’ve been selfish with you; that I’ve taken advantage of you—of your selflessness and your strength, and that I’ve—I’ve broken you somehow.
Haley:  No, no!  You haven’t—you didn’t.  I just—I have a weight in my heart now that I didn’t have before.  It was lighter today, though.

Nathan:  Look. uhm… I’ve been doing some thinking about us—about what we’re gonna do—and, uhm…I still have the annulment papers.  But, if we get an annulment, that means that our marriage never happened; that it’d be a lie.  We had a lot of great times together, Haley.  I don’t want to pretend like we didn’t.
Haley:  Neither do I.
Nathan:  So instead of an annulment, I’ve looked into a divorce.  The state says we have to be separated for a year.
Haley:  What—uh, what are you saying?
Nathan:  I’m saying that I think we should see what happens between now and then.
Haley:  Nathan, I love you.  I know that we can work this out, and a year from now, things will be good for us again.
Nathan:  Maybe.  Maybe not.  I guess we’ll just have to see.

3x03 First Day On A Brand New Planet

Nathan: Stop it.
Haley: What?
Nathan: Whatever you’re worrying about. Just stop.
Haley: How do you know I’m worried? You didn’t even open your eyes.
Nathan: You think I need to see you with my eyes to know what’s going on with you. What’s on your mind?
Haley: I was just wondering if maybe I should go home.
Nathan: Why would you do that? 
Haley: Because I don’t want to wake up and have you not be here again.
Nathan: I’ll be here. I’m not going anywhere. 

3x13 - “The Wind That Blew My Heart Away”

Haley:  Nathan; it’s been said that there’s one word that will free us from the weight and the pain of life, and that word is love.  And I believe that.  That doesn’t mean that it hasn’t been hard, or that it won’t be.  It just means that… I found a stillness and a bravery in myself with you.  You make me brave.  And I will love you until the end of time.  This I vow today.
Nathan:  Last year, we stood on a beach and I told you how much I loved you, and how I would always, always protect you.  And that day, nobody believed that this would work.  But, I don’t think anybody understood the love that I had for you.  Because if they did, then they would have never doubted us.  So I wanted to marry you all over again in front of most of our world; because today, when I look into your eyes, my love for you only grows.  It’s even stronger now.  And our love will never waver.  This I vow to you, today and always.  And forever.
